Ryan Curt Engelberger is a Georgia based songwriter, musician, and producer. Having musically “grown up” playing in the internationally touring indie dance band Reptar, he releases music and produces under the stage name Curt Castle. His debut solo record, If I’m Here At All, came out in 2019. His songs grapple with love and heartbreak, mental health, and the ever changing nature of identity.

These days, you’ll mostly find him engineering and producing at legendary Athens, Georgia recording studio Chase Park Transduction. Having first experienced life in a recording studio as an artist, he makes sure to create a positive, constructive, and collaborative environment so that the vision and creative passion of the artists he works with can shine through. He loves finding and accentuating the moments of drama in music.

When he’s not moving the faders and knobs at the studio, he’s spending time at the old farmhouse where he lives in the Georgia countryside, playing live shows with his friends, writing new songs and slowly figuring out how to be a parent.
